CASECOSIS AUDIENCE FEEDBACK.

Looking at the audience feedback, we can conclude that it was generally positive. We asked five different people on their thoughts about the movie in general, also asking if they had recognised any major areas of development for future films.

Individual 1, had a positive review of the film. They first stated that CaseCosis had a “great title sequence”; that it had intrigued them from the very start. This allowed them to be drawn in making them want to know what’s happening. This led to the individual receiving the reaction that was intended by us the producers, which was to create a “jumpy!” respponse. The effects which were added successfully allowed us to achieve this objective as they were very clear/obvious and effective to the audience. On the other hand, the individual thought that the main story line was unclear and didn’t make much sense.

Individual 2, briefly outlined that the tense moments of the build-up really draw the viewers in. It makes the viewer’s question and want to know what’s going on. Which is good as it tells us that the movie keeps the interest flowing. Which tells us it is not dull or excessive.

Lastly, individual 3 and 4 had added to the good reviews on the film. The first was again the aspect of the film drawing you in and the relaxed feeling before the major event of the film. In addition, the individual also spotted the ways we used cuts to show different perspectives and emphasise what’s going on. For example, the news scene. They also mentioned the sound effect and how they helped towards the aim of the movie which was to be scary.

On the other hand, the key areas to improve in are the length of the short scenes such as the ending and the discovery of the dead body. They mentioned that there could be more effect or emphasis on what is going on in certain scenes, which will make the narrative more clear to the audience.
